It’s January, and the buzz around gyms, fitness, and New Year’s resolutions is everywhere. Over the past year, I’ve made my health and fitness a priority, but along the way, I discovered something important: I needed a “tribe.” That’s when I found Flock Fitness – an amazing group of women who encourage me, hold me accountable, and keep me motivated to reach my fitness goals.
I hit the gym with the Flock three times a week, sometimes even on weekends. It’s a group of like-minded working moms, all pushing each other, celebrating progress, and making sure no one skips a session. It’s not just about working out; it’s about showing up for each other. When you know someone is counting on you, it’s easier to stay committed. I’ve tried working out solo so many times, but there’s something different about going with a group – if I miss a session, I’ll get a text asking where I am. That accountability makes all the difference.
I especially love the 5 a.m. workouts – getting my session in before the day even begins – but there’s something for everyone at Flock Fitness. For stay-at-home moms, there are meetups in parks where kids can play while the moms work out, building friendships and support systems along the way. It’s more than just fitness; it’s about lifting each other up through every stage of life and motherhood.
Finding your groove with fitness can be hard, especially with the pressure that January brings. But trust me, I’ve been there. So I encourage you to find your own “flock” and do fitness in a way that works for you. It’s not just about exercise – it’s about community, support, and doing it your way.
