Since running our business, I’ve come to learn that surrounding yourself with the right people fuels success.
I’m fortunate to be surrounded by a community of like-minded business owners and everyday, I am gifted with the opportunity to exchange ideas, share experiences, and learn something new. The people you choose to surround yourself with have a profound impact on your perspective, growth, and ultimately, your success – which is why I’m an advocate for BNI, and I’ve been a proud member for 10 years.
Currently, I’m part of the BNI Business Launchers in Oviedo, where I’ve got to know the system inside-out and become a mentor. As a chapter mentor, I meet all the newcomers, being their first point of contact, guiding them as they start their journey. I’m incredibly grateful for the referrals Clear Property Inspections receives through our BNI chapter and love showing my gratitude by helping other businesses utilize the group to their full potential and watching them grow.
The referrals we receive are invaluable, but the benefits of BNI go beyond business. It’s about being part of a community that supports and challenges you, helping you to think differently and push your boundaries.
In addition to my involvement with BNI, I make it a point to attend three or four networking events each month, from real estate gatherings, to industry-specific events like the recent Expert Panel on Solar Panels event.
These events are more than just opportunities to network -surrounding myself with other entrepreneurs keeps me motivated and constantly learning. There’s always something new to take away, whether it’s a fresh perspective on a challenge or a new idea to implement in my business. It also means I have built meaningful relationships with professionals in all walks of life and industries, many of whom I now count as close friends. And if you ever need anybody for anything, chances are I’ll know someone for the job! Including so many I have personally used since being a part of BNI.
